HAIR CARE: SHAMPOO FOR HEALTHY HAIR
When making up your own shampoo please be aware that they won’t lather up like the store-bought variety, but they will leave your hair clean and healthy
Kombucha: add kombucha vinegar to any shampoo m a ratio of 1:10 then it will be a shampoo and conditioner all in one.
Castile herbal shampoo: add 40 ml (2tsp) of herbal infusion to a cup (150ml) of castle liquid soap , soapwort or any natural based shampoo. Soapwort Shampoo: this is made by adding soapwort leaves, flowers, roots and stems to a saucepan, then add just enough water to cover them. Boil for twenty minutes, cool and strain. Soak hair with this soapy brew, leave on as long as possible. Rinse well and finish with a herbal rinse. Used to revitalise dry, heat-damaged, permed , dyed or bleached hair. Egg shampoo: to bring life back into your hair, try an egg shampoo. Beat one egg and add 75 ml of the herbal infusion suitable for your hair type. Massage into hair and scalp leave on for five minutes then rinse well with warm water. Herbal milk can used in place of herbal infusion for dry or damaged hair.
Clay shampoo: make up a fairly thin paste of clay and water or herbal infusion, soak the entire head with this, leave it for 30 minutes or up to 1 hour, then rinse with water.
